When Rockstar Energy launched its limited-edition Día de Los Muertos cans, I led the full visual campaign to ensure the celebration was not just seen—but felt. My aim was to build a world that honored the heritage, colors, and storytelling of the holiday, while staying rooted in the Rockstar brand’s energy.

As Art Director & Producer, I oversaw every creative detail: from set design and floral arrangements to styling, makeup, props, wardrobe, and retouching. I personally stylized props, directed the wardrobe and coordinated the makeup inspiration—especially drawing from the Calavera (“Katrina”) illustration on the can, incorporating star motifs throughout makeup and fashion to echo the brand art. I also supervised photoshoot production and delivered edits for social and run-of-site (ROS) activations, ensuring consistency and emotional impact across channels.
This campaign wasn’t just beautiful. It was about creating a sensory environment: vibrant colors, authentic styling, ceremonial symbolism, and visual nods that communicate respect and cultural depth. By bringing everything in-house—prop styling, wardrobe direction, set design—I ensured the campaign felt cohesive, intentional, and true to the spirit of Día de Los Muertos while still being unmistakably Rockstar.
